         Introduction

 The Rocker-Bogie design has no springs and stub axles for each wheel, allowing the rover to climb over obstacles, such as rocks, that are up to twice the wheel’s diameter in size while keeping all six wheels on the ground. As with any suspension system, the tilt stability is limited by the height of the center of gravity. Systems using springs tend to tip more easily as the loaded side yields. The system is designed to be used at slow speeds of around 10 cm/s, so as to minimize dynamics hock sand consequential damage to the vehicle when surmounting sizable obstacles.The Rocker-Bogie system has been the suspension arrangement used in the Mars rovers. It is currently NASA’s favored design.The term “rocker” comes from the rocking aspect of the larger links on each side of the suspension system. These rockers are connected to each other and the vehicle chassis through a differential. Relative to the chassis, when one rocker goes up, the other goes down. The chassis maintains the average pitch angle of both rockers. One end of a rocker is fitted with a drive wheel and the other end is pivoted to a bogie.

Battery Operated Forklift

                                                                       Introduction

                In general the forklift can be defined as a tool capable of lifting hundreds of kilograms of weight.A forklift is a vehicle similar to as mall truck that has two metal forks on the front used to lift cargo.The forklift operator drives the forklift forward until the forks push under the cargo,and can then lift the cargo several feet in the air by operating the forks.The forks, also known as blades or tines,are usually made out of steel and can lift up to a few tons.
Forklifts are machines that use levers and/or pulleys to lift significant weights.A forklift on e passes on the road may look like a fairly modern invention,but these machines have actually be en used for at least the past 2000 years,if not longer.The Romans used forklifts to build huge monuments. Medieval churches were constructed with them.Also,theEgyptiansmayhaveusedthemtocreatepyramids.Themodernversioncanbeeithersimpleorcomplex,and forklifts vary based on their application.

                                                                 Introduction
The electric two-wheeler set-up appears a lot more promising, in the form of research, financial acquisitions & investments, that makes the electric vehicle segment thrilling. Well, there is also the forward push by the government and the references of its think-tank, NITI Ayog. One of the basic human needs is transportation. Mobility allows us to take advantage of life and its possibilities. However, mobility does have its drawbacks, particularly in urban environments, where plenty of people utilize Mobility options simultaneously. Poor air quality, traffic congestions, and lack of parking are a result of growing Mobility needs. In order to solve these problems without imposing severe restrictions in personal mobility, alternatives To cars, powered by internal combustion engines, are necessary. One of these alternatives are electric-Powered Two- Wheelers (ePTWs). Unlike their conventionally powered counterparts, these vehicles utilize batteries and an electric powered drive train. Within the last two decades, development of this type of vehicles yielded models that are usable in urban environments, with Chinese manufacturers leading in this sector. In the European market, however, high- powered two-wheelers (motorcycles) dominate. With the availability of e-scooters, this could change. Due to their favorable properties, e-scooters could help to reshape current mobility and solve resulting problems in urban settings. In order to contribute to the subject and to investigate the potential of e-scooters as well as possible constraints and acceptance among users, a pilot study in the city of Munich, Germany was conducted. Therefore, groups of users were supplied with a vehicle and usage was recorded using travel diaries. Furthermore, participants of this pilot study were surveyed before and after the test in order to measure shifts in attitudes towards usage, usability, and vehicle features.

Manufacturing Footpath Cleaning m/c

INTRODUCTION

 

Effective cleaning and sanitizing
helps and protect the health of the human beings directly and indirectly. Also,
cleaning and sanitizing prevents the pest infestations by reducing residues
that can attract and support bees, pests etc. It also improves the shelf life
of the floor, walls etc. Due to regular cleaning and maintenance, in recent
years, most of the people prefer to use trains or buses for commuting and hence
these places are littered with biscuits covers, water bottles etc. Hence, it is
necessary to clean the bus stands and railways stations and other commercial
areas at regular interval. There is no one single cleaning method that is
suitable for all locations and occasions and effective cleaning depends upon
type of cleaning device, cleaning technique and also the equipment should be
user friendly.

 In recent years, floor cleaning robots are
getting more popular for busy and aging populations due to lack of   workers.
However in India, unemployment is more and hence there is a need to develop
less labour oriented     cleaning machine. The present work is aimed to design,
development and evaluation of a manually operated     road  cleaning machine.

“FABRICATION OF BOARD CLEANING MACHINE”

INTRODUCTION

   Now if you make such a claim you need some evidence to support it. For that you
can conduct a survey among teachers get their opinion as how frustrating it is to take classes
breathing chalk dust. 10-15 teachers would be enough. If you conduct a little bit of research
you will find studies that prove prolonged exposure to chalk dust causes respiratory
problems. And moreover front bunch students know how irritating it is to sit amid chalk dust. Therefore it is necessary to use a mechanism which can replace the
manual cleaning of blackboards.
Aim:
The aim of this project is to build an automatic mechanism that can clean chalk
marks from the blackboard without any manual labor. This project was done before by a
team in Amravati University and their detailed project is given at the end of this article. To
me the mechanism they built sound complex, there are other easy ways to approach this
problem. The duster they are using is a sponge which is the size of a normal blackboard
duster. They locate the chalk marks by taking photographs of the whole blackboard and
analyzing the location of the marks.
A simpler solution would be to make this a manual mechanism instead of automatic.
Use a similar mechanism but make the duster the whole height of the blackboard. So when a
button is pushed the duster moves horizontally over the blackboard sweeping the entire
board instead of just the area with chalk marks. But definitely such a system doesn’t have
the complexity needed for your final year project, I am just saying my opinion here.

Steam Power Plant Using Biomass

INTRODUCTION

       Electricity is the key to economic development for any country. During the last five
decades, the demand for electricity has increased manifold in India, primarily due to the rapid
rate of urbanization and industrialization. The conventional fossil fuel resources for power
generation are fast depleting and there is a growing concern over the environmental
degradation caused by conventional power plants. Against such implications, power
generation from non-conventional resources assumes greater significance. Among the various
renewable energy sources, biomass conversion technologies appear to be one of the best
suited for conversion to shaft power/electricity.
Biomass is available all round the year. It is cheap, widely available easy to transport,
store, and has no environmental hazards. It can be obtained from plantation of land having
no competitive use. Biomass-based power generation systems, linked to plantations on
wasteland, simultaneously address the vital issues of wastelands development, environmental
restoration, rural employment generation, and generation of power with no distribution
losses. It can be combined with production of other useful products, making it an attractive
by product.         The term ‘biomass’ refers to organic matter, which can be converted to energy. Some of
the most common biomass fuels are wood, agricultural residues, and crops grown specifically
for energy. In addition, it is possible to convert municipal waste, manure or agricultural
products into valuable fuels for transportation, industry, and even residential use.

“STUDY, DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF
A 3D PRINTER PROTOTYPING”

INTRODUCTION

         3D printing called as desktop fabrication. It is a rapid prototyping process whereby
a real object can be created from a 3D design. A 3D printer machine uses a CAD
model for rapid prototyping process. [1]
3D printing is called as desktop fabrication which is a process of prototyping where
by a structure is synthesized from its 3d model. The 3d design is stored in as a STL
format and after that forwarded to the 3D printer. It can use a wide range of
materials such as ABS,PLA, and composites as well.3D printing is one kind of
rapidly developing and cost optimized form which is used for rapid
prototyping.The 

       3D printer prints the CAD design layer by layer forming a real
object. 3D printing process is derived from inkjet desktop printers in which
multiple deposit jets and the printing material, layer by layer derived from the CAD
3D data.3D printing is diversifying and accelerating our life, letting various
qualities of products to be synthesized easier and faster[2].Three dimensional (3D)
printing has the ability to impact the transmission of information in ways similar to
the influence of such earlier technologies as photocopying. This identifies sources
of information on 3D printing, its technology, required software and applications. Along 3D printing, companies are able to extract and innovate new ideologies and
various design replications with no time or tool expense. 3D printing possibly
challenges mass production processes in future. 3D printing influences many
industries, such as automotive, architecture, education, medical, business and
consumer industries
